Together, Ben Plotnick, Jarred Albright and Sean Softley have created a new style inspired by their own musical visions, bringing together many genres from around the world including Blue Grass, Country, Blues, Jazz, Celtic and contemporary Pop influences. Having played together since they were just thirteen, these three highly experienced musicians have reunited, focusing their energies on cultivating their new project.
Though only in their twenties, each of the members of Lark Hill has more than twelve years experience as professional musicians, playing and touring around the world with numerous acts; performing for audiences old and young from Canada and the United States to South Korea, Great Britain and New Zealand. They have played for dignitaries, world leaders and contemporary stars such as Queen Elizabeth II, Prime Minister Chretien, Prime Minister Harper, Natalie MacMaster and music legend Mark O'Connor to name a few.
All three of the members have won or placed highly at the Grand North American Fiddle Championships.
The members have shared the stage with music greats such as Ian Tyson, The Polyjesters, The Road Hammers, Anne Murray, Natalie MacMaster, Rawlins Cross, The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Adam Gregory, Aaron Pritchett and Corb Lund.
Ben, Jarred and Sean have each been actively involved in the local music scene, as sought after music teachers as well as local recording artists, participating in numerous recording projects from solo albums to freelance session work.
